The best performances from the Kettering Town Harriers squad who competed in the opening fixture of the Eastern Veterans League came from Helen Keyworth and Amanda Marlow.

The Central Division match at Sandy saw Keyworth hold off the challenge of Fairlands Valley’s Christine Feely (72.0) to win the F45 400m in 70.9 while Marlow won the F35 long jump.

Both their efforts helped the Harriers to finish third in the team competition while the men finished fourth.
