Calculators were a common sight in the Priors Hall clubhouse following the latest two competitions as countback was needed to decide all the prizes in both the March Seniors Medal and the March Doubles Stableford.

With five players tied for first spot in the seniors event on net 72, John Smith grabbed the plaudits ahead of runner-up David Smith, Jimmy Kane, Tommy Hamilton and Lewis Watt.

Four different combinations came in with the leading mark of 41 points in the pairs competition.

Ryan Jaffray and Graeme Thomson gained the verdict ahead of runners-up Darren Buchan and John Lappin.

Ryan Genner and Michael Farr were third from Tony Ferns and Michael Craddock.
