There is a busy night of ChromaSport & Trophies United Counties League Division One action ahead with two local derbies taking centre-stage.

Raunds Town, who beat Netherton United in the NFA Junior Cup at the weekend, put their unbeaten record on the line at Kiln Park this evening (Tuesda) when they take on Whitworth, who enjoyed a welcome 1-0 success over Rothwell Corinthians on Saturday.

Corinthians host the other derby of the night as they face Irchester United, who claimed their first win of the season at the weekend with a 2-1 success at Blackstones.

Rushden & Higham have been in reasonable form of late and that entertain Olney Town at Hayden Road while Joe Smyth’s Burton Park Wanderers make the trip to face St Neots Saints.

Thrapston Town are in action tomorrow (Wednesday) night when they head to Blackstones, looking to bounce back from their 5-1 defeat at Olney at the weekend.

There is also a big night for Wellingborough Town’s youth team tomorrow (Wednesday) when they take on Leighton Town in the FA Youth Cup at the Dog & Duck, with the winners being away to either Luton Town or Corby Town in the third qualifying round.

At least one Northants Senior Youth League side will be through to that stage as Cogenhoe United play Rushden & Higham in the competition on Thursday evening.
