Clubs from Division One of the ChromaSport & Trophies United Counties League take centre-stage on another busy night of action this evening.

Rushden & Higham, who have already reached the NFA Junior Cup final this season, will be looking for more glory as they take on Premier Division high-fliers St Ives Town in the quarter-finals of the League Knockout Cup at Hayden Road.

And there is also a huge showdown in prospect in the Division One league action at the Dog & Duck.

Leaders Sileby Rangers are the visitors for third-placed AFC Rushden & Diamonds with just one point separating the two teams, who like many, saw their fixtures washed out at the weekend.

Diamonds will be looking to repeat their impressive result the last time the two sides met a few weeks ago when they ran out 1-0 winners at Fernie Fields.

There is a local derby at Seargeant’s Lawn as Rothwell Corinthians host rock-bottom Burton Park Wanderers while Thrapston Town entertain Harrowby United at Chancery Lane.

Desborough Town and Irchester United are in Premier Division action with the former looking to bounce back from their 5-1 defeat at leaders Holbeach United when they take on Huntingdon Town at the Waterworks Field.

The Romans, who are destined for the drop to Division One, are also on home soil at Alfred Street as they face Deeping Rangers.
