There is a full programme of ChromaSport & Trophies United Counties League Premier Division action over the next two evenings.
And the game of midweek comes tomorrow (Wednesday) night as AFC Rushden & Diamonds travel to Huntingdon.
Mark Starmer’s newly-promoted Diamonds have enjoyed a superb start to life at a higher level with three wins out of three so far, the latest of which was a 5-1 demolition of Sleaford Town at the weekend.
But they look set for a tough test against a Huntingdon outfit, who are also unbeaten so far having collected seven points from a possible nine.
Tonight (Tuesday) sees Stewarts & Lloyds boss Kevin Byrne take charge of his first home league game at the helm when they host Sileby Rangers at Occupation Road.
The Foundrymen claimed a 0-0 draw at Newport Pagnell on Saturday and are up against a Sileby team who have suffered three successive defeats at the start of the campaign.
Wellingborough Town also have a home clash as they go in search of their first win of the season when they take on AFC Kempston at the Dog & Duck.
Craig Adams’ side were beaten 3-0 at Deeping at the weekend while Kempston have drawn all three of their matches so far.
UCL Division One side Burton Park Wanderers are also in action tonight as they head to league rivals Eynesbury Rovers in the first round of the Hinchingbrooke Cup. Burton go into the clash on the back of three successive defeats in the league, the latest of which was a 2-0 loss at Buckingham Town on Saturday.
