Corby Town have completed the signing of French centre-half Briand Pierrick.
The defender has been training with the Steelmen during pre-season and has impressed in their unbeaten run in their friendlies so far.
And he has now agreed a deal at Steel Park, subject to international clearance.
Steelmen boss Ian Sampson said: “Briand has done very well for us and I am happy he has agreed to join us.
“He has travelled all this way for a trial and we now hope his good form continues.
“He actually came over here a couple of years ago with a French team when I was at Northampton and we couldn’t agree anything at that point.
“But when I got the Corby job, he got in touch and it has gone on from there.”
Sampson, meanwhile, has confirmed Corby have offered a deal to striker Ricky Miller, who has been in fine scoring form during pre-season.
“We have offered him a deal and the ball is in his court,” Sampson added.
“Hopefully he will make his decision before this weekend.”
