Corby Town will travel to Mickleover Sports in the second qualifying round of the FA Cup.

The Steelmen earned their place in today’s (Monday) draw with a 3-0 success over Barwell at Steel Park at the weekend in joint-managers Andrew Wilson and Tommy Wright’s first game in charge.

Mickleover, who are fifth in the Evo-Stik Northern League Division One South, beat Loughborough University 2-0 on Saturday.

AFC Rushden & Diamonds, meanwhile, have been handed a decent incentive for getting through as they will host Calor League Premier Division outfit Cambridge City but only if they finish the job against Cockfosters at the Dog & Duck tomorrow (Tuesday) night after Saturday’s first qualifying round tie ended in a 2-2 draw.

The second qualifying round matches will take place on Saturday, September 28.
