Corby Town claimed a point on their travels as they drew 2-2 at Gainsborough Trinity in the Blue Square Bet North..

The Steelmen stormed into the lead in front of a crowd of 518 with two goals in the space of one first half minute.

Leon McKenzie teed up Sam Ives to volley in the opener and just 60 seconds later, McKenzie was the provider again as he pulled the ball back for Ryan Semple to smash home.

Gainsborough, however, fought back and pulled a goal back before the break when Danny Hone headed home from a corner.

And the hosts found an equaliser early in the second half when Dominic Knowles scored with a header at the far post.

Paul Walker helped keep the Steelmen in the game as they held on for a share of the spoils.
