Ian Sampson is confident Corby Town’s squad will be taking
shape by the time they return for pre-season training on July 2.

The Steelmen boss has
continued his planning for the new Blue Square Bet North
season with the capture of former Boston United winger Ryan Semple.

The former Peterborough United man becomes Corby’s third new signing of the
summer and the fifth to put pen to paper with the club.

And Sampson believes that by the time his team are back in for training, his squad will have even more additions.

“I am delighted to get Ryan on board,” he said.

“He knows the division from his time at Boston and he had a very good reputation as a young professional at Lincoln and Peterborough.

“Things are moving along nicely now. We are still talking to other players and there may even be another one coming in today.

“We are back on July 2 and by then I expect us to have a decent number of players in place.

“We will keep things moving and we will be ready for the start of pre-season training.”

The Steelmen, meanwhile, have confirmed a reduction in season ticket and matchday admission prices at Steel Park for the new Blue Square Bet North season.

Season ticket prices for adults are down from £210 to £180 while concession (over-60s and full-time students) tickets will be £125.

New chairman Kevin Ingram had already revealed it will be free for under-16s.

Matchday prices for the main stand and terraces are £10 for adults and £7 for concessions.
