Desborough Town’s unbeaten record in the ChromaSport & Trophies United Counties League Premier Division will get a stern test this evening (Tuesday).

Ar Tarn head to Spalding United, who have won four out of four in the league so far this season.

Steve Walker’s team were the victims of a late fightback from Newport Pagnell at the weekend after the visitors led 3-1 thanks to Michael Byrne’s 16-minute hat-trick. The 3-3 stalemate was Desborough’s third draw in four league matches.

Another team in good form are Wellingborough Town and Craig Adams’ side will be looking to build on a 1-1 draw at Peterborough Northern Star when they travel to Newport Pagnell tonight.

There is also one game of interest in Division One as Irchester United continue their search for a first win of the season against ON Chenecks at Alfred Street. Colin Ridgway’s team went down 5-3 at Bourne on Saturday.
