Weather permitting, the three local ChromaSport & Trophies United Counties League Premier Division clubs will be hoping to get back into action today (Monday).

Desborough Town, Wellingborough Town and Rothwell Corinthians were left kicking their heels due to the rain on Boxing Day.

But there is a full programme of matches scheduled for Bank Holiday Monday with Desborough set to take on Sileby Rangers at the Waterworks Field while Wellingborough face a tough trip to second-placed AFC Kempston Rovers.

Corinthians, meanwhile, make the short trip across the county to play Northampton Spencer.

In Division One, just two games involving clubs from north Northamptonshire are set to go ahead.

Irchester United head to Buckingham Town while Whitworth host second-placed ON Chenecks.

Burton Park Wanderers’ home clash with Lutterworth Athletic and the derby between Stewarts & Lloyds and Thrapston Town were postponed yesterday.

All matches involving the local teams are due to kick-off at 3pm.
