There is another busy midweek ahead in the ChromaSport & Trophies United Counties League as local clubs enter the final month of the season.

Time is fast running out for Stewarts & Lloyds as they look to avoid the drop in the Premier Division but, after having no game on Saturday, they face a tough assignment at fourth-placed Huntingdon Town tomorrow (Wednesday) night.

The Foundrymen currently sit eight points adrift of safety with seven games to play.

Topping the bill in Division One tonight (Tuesday) is a local derby between Rushden & Higham and in-form Thrapston Town at Hayden Road.

The Lankies were beaten 2-0 at home by champions-elect Oadby Town at the weekend while Thrapston fought back from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 at Burton Park Wanderers.

Irchester United have been struggling of late and they face a tough test when promotion-chasing Eynesbury Rovers come to Alfred Street this evening.

There is another local derby on the cards tomorrow (Wednesday) night when Rothwell Corinthians take on Burton Park Wanderers at Seargents Lawn while Whitworth host Potton United.
