Thrapston Town will have home advantage when they head into the first round proper of the FA Vase next month.

The ChromaSport & Trophies United Counties League Division One side moved into the proper stages of the competition after a 3-1 victory over CB Hounslow United at Chancery Lane on Saturday.

And, in yesterday’s (Monday) draw, they were handed another home tie against Leverstock Green.

Rothwell Corinthians and Desborough Town will both be on the road in the first round.

Corinthians’ reward for beating Irchester United 2-1 at the weekend is a trip to Waltham Forest while Ar Tarn will head to Wembley after they saw off Whitworth 6-3 after extra-time on Saturday.

Corinthians, Desborough and Wellingborough Town, meanwhile, are all in UCL Premier Division action tonight.

The Doughboys, who suffered a disappointing 2-0 home defeat to Bedfont Sports in the FA Vase on Sunday, face a tough test as they travel to leaders Peterborough Sports.

Corinthians also have a difficult match as they entertain second-placed Newport Pagnell Town at Sergeants Lawn while Ar Tarn will bid to maintain their fine start to the season when they make the trip to Oadby Town.
