Wellingborough Town and Desborough Town lock horns in a ChromaSport & Trophies United Counties League Premier Division local derby tonight (Tuesday).

Both sides sit comfortably in mid-table as the season heads for its climax and the Doughboys, who go into the clash on the back of a fine 2-1 success at Boston Town at the weekend, will move into 12th place if they are successful at the Dog & Duck this evening.

Ar Tarn, meanwhile, know they will move above their local rivals if they can clinch victory. Ian Walker’s side will be aiming to bounce back after they conceded two goals in the last 10 minutes in the 2-1 loss at third-placed Thurnby Nirvana on Saturday.

AFC Rushden & Diamonds will also be keeping a close eye on one particular match this evening.

Second-placed Wisbech Town will move to within one point of the leaders if they win at Peterborough Northern Star with the Fenmen set to visit the Dog & Duck for a title showdown at the weekend.

There is also a derby clash on a busy night in Division One as Burton Park Wanderers entertain Rushden & Higham United at Latimer Park.

Irchester United, who were 1-0 winners over the Lankies at the weekend, face a tough test as they host leaders Northampton Spencer.

Thrapston Town travel to Bourne Town and Raunds Town are also in action as they host Potton United at Kiln Park.
