Two late goals denied Ian Walker a winning return to Thrapston Town as they were forced to settle for a 2-2 draw at Bourne Town in Division One.

Ben Morgan gave the visitors the lead after 10 minutes and when Jack Wisniewski struck with just five minutes remaining, the points looked safe.

However, Tyler Sculthorpe pulled one back and then Dan Smith grabbed the equaliser a minute into stoppage-time.

The damage was done in the opening period at Alfred Street as Irchester United’s unbeaten home record was ended after a 3-2 loss to Woodford United.

But the hosts responded through Seb Archer-Fern and Lewis Leckie to lead at the break before Richard Nelson rounded things off in the second half.

Aaron Murrell (2), Danny Webb, Jack Weeden and Will Wright were on target for the visitors while the Shopmates’ consolation was scored by Josh Davis from the penalty spot with 13 minutes to go.
