Wellingborough Town will be aiming to build on their excellent weekend win when they head to bottom side Long Buckby in the ChromaSport & Trophies United Counties League Premier Division this evening (Tuesday).

The Doughboys produced one of their best results of the season so far as they beat second-placed Yaxley 3-2 at the Dog & Duck at the weekend.

There’s also a busy night ahead for the local Division One clubs as Whitworth get ready to renew their promotion bid with a trip to struggling St Neots Town Saints.

In-form Thrapston Town, who were 5-2 winners at Olney Town on Saturday, are in for a big test at Chancery Lane as they take on leaders Northampton Spencer.

Meanwhile, there is a local derby at Hayden Road as Rushden & Higham United take on Raunds Town.

And Irchester United are also in action as they head to Premier Division side Sileby Rangers in the UCL Knockout Cup.

The Romans will be hoping to cause an upset while bouncing back from a 2-0 home defeat to high-flying Potton United at the weekend.
