Wellingborough Town will be looking to bounce back when they take on Cogenhoe United in the quarter-finals of the NFA Hillier Senior Cup tonight (Tuesday).

The Doughboys suffered a disappointing 1-0 home defeat to Harborough Town in the ChromaSport & Trophies United Counties League Premier Division at the weekend.

And they will need to be at their best against league rivals Cogenhoe at the Dog & Duck this evening as the visitors sealed a fine 2-0 win at Yaxley on Saturday to maintain their top-five position.

There is also action in the UCL itself tonight with Rothwell Corinthians involved in a big game in Division One.

Shaun Sparrow’s side kept up their fine form with a 3-2 success at Olney Town at the weekend but face another tough assignment when they host Northampton Spencer at Sergeants Lawn.

Spencer won 4-3 at previous leaders Lutterworth Athletic at the weekend and sit just behind Corinthians in sixth place.

Thrapston Town were without a game on Saturday but return to action tonight when they head to Premier Division outfit Sileby Rangers in the UCL Knockout Cup.
