Wellingborough Town will be looking to bounce back from their weekend defeat as they look to secure a place in the third round of the ChromaSport & Trophies United Counties League Knockout Cup tonight (Tuesday).

The Doughboys take on Division One outfit Northampton Spencer at the Dog & Duck after suffering a 4-2 loss at Holbeach United in the Premier Division on Saturday.

There is also a busy night of action in Division One with in-form Burton Park Wanderers – 3-1 winners over Lutterworth Athletic at the weekend – taking on Buckingham Town at Latimer Park.

Another team on an upward curve are Whitworth as they enjoyed a 2-1 success over local rivals Raunds Town on Saturday and the Flourmen have another home clash with Bugbrooke this evening.

The Shopmates entertain Potton while Irchester will be looking to build on their 2-1 victory against Olney Town when they head to ON Chenecks.

Rothwell Corinthians host Blackstones after draw 3-3 at Bugbrooke at the weekend while Aidy Mann’s Rushden & Higham will hope to hit back from their 2-1 loss at Blackstones when they entertain St Neots Saints.

New Thrapston Town boss Richard Scott will be chasing his first win at the helm when they make the trip to Peterborough Sports tomorrow (Wednesday) night after his first game in charge ended in a 2-0 defeat at Northampton Spencer.
