AFC Rushden & Diamonds get another chance to make up some ground on those above them in the ChromaSport & Trophies United Counties League Premier Division tonight.

But Mark Starmer’s men will have to overcome a team who have already beaten them twice this season when they take on Huntingdon Town at the Dog & Duck.

Huntingdon claimed a 1-0 win over Diamonds in the league earlier this season and then also sealed a 3-2 success at the Dog & Duck when the two teams met in the Knockout Cup.

Diamonds go into the clash on the back of a 1-1 draw at Peterborough Northern Star at the weekend while Huntingdon were 4-0 winners at bottom side Harborough Town.

Two other UCL Premier Division sides are in action in the second round of the NFA Hillier Senior Cup this evening.

Desborough Town, who drew 1-1 at Sleaford on Saturday, head to league rivals Long Buckby while Stewarts & Lloyds will be looking to bounce back from their 4-0 weekend loss at Spalding United when they travel to Peterborough Northern Star.

Wellingborough Town were due to take on Daventry Town but that game has been postponed with the latter being involved in an FA Trophy replay.

Elsewhere, Raunds Town are in UCL Knockout Cup first-round action when they take on Division One rivals Northampton Spencer at Kiln Park.
