Rothwell Corinthians will be hoping to play their first competitive game in a month this evening (Tuesday).

The ChromaSport & Trophies United Counties League Division One side haven’t played in the league since drawing 2-2 with Olney Town on January 11, although they did see some action at the weekend when they were 2-1 up in a friendly against Premier Division outfit Harborough Town before the game was abandoned due to a player injury.

And Shaun Sparrow’s team take on top-flight opposition again tonight when they are due to face AFC Kempston Rovers at Seargents Lawn in the second round of the UCL Knockout Cup.

Burton Park Wanderers enjoyed a fine 4-2 success over Stanion Redstar to book their place in the last four of the NFA Junior Cup at the weekend.

And they will be looking to build on that when they return to Division One duty against second-placed Eynesbury Rovers at Latimer Park.

In the Premier Division, Stewarts & Lloyds are still struggling in their fight to stay in the league after a 1-0 loss at Boston Town on Saturday.

And things don’t get any easier for the Foundrymen as they make the trip to high-flying Huntingdon Town tomorrow (Wednesday) night.
