Rothwell Corinthians and Desborough Town will be aiming to build on their fine starts to the ChromaSport & Trophies United Counties League Premier Division season tonight (Tuesday).

Newly-promoted Corinthians claimed a superb 3-0 victory over Huntingdon Town on the opening day and have home advantage again this evening as they take on Oadby Town at Sergeants Lawn.

Ar Tarn started their campaign with a dramatic 1-0 win over Holbeach United with Jake Bettles’ stoppage-time penalty proving decisive.

Ian Walker’s men hit the road tonight as they head to league new boys Kirby Muxloe.

Wellingborough Town will be hoping to get their season up and running in their first home match of the campaign.

The Doughboys suffered a 4-1 defeat at Leicester Nirvana on Saturday but will be keen to put that behind them when they welcome Newport Pagnell to the Dog & Duck.

In Division One, meanwhile, Thrapston Town will be looking to make it three wins from as many matches when they head to Olney Town.

Richard Scott’s side followed up their opening 4-1 victory over St Neots Town Saints with a 5-1 win at Woodford United last weekend.
