Rothwell Corinthians will aim to book themselves a trip to Barking in the first round proper of the FA Vase when they head to Tring Athletic tonight (Tuesday).

Corinthians and Tring drew 3-3 after extra-time in their second qualifying round tie at Sergeants Lawn on Saturday with goalkeeper Brad Wilson scoring Shaun Sparrow’s team’s equaliser at 2-2 to send the game into an extra 30 minutes.

Raunds Town, meanwhile, have been handed a home clash with ChromaSport & Trophies United Counties League Premier Division side Sleaford Town on Saturday, October 31.

The Shopmates dumped local rivals Wellingborough Town out with a 1-0 win at the weekend.

The Doughboys and Desborough Town are both on UCL Knockout Cup preliminary round duty this evening.

Wellingborough entertain Division One outfit Long Buckby while Chris Bradshaw’s first home game since taking caretaker charge of Ar Tarn sees them up against Premier Division rivals Deeping Rangers at the Waterworks Field.

There are two local derbies in UCL Division One tonight.

New Burton Park Wanderers boss Luke Smith takes his team to Irchester United after picking up their first point of the season in a 0-0 draw at Buckingham Town at the weekend.

The Romans also drew on Saturday as they shared the points in a 2-2 stalemate with Lutterworth Athletic.

At Chancery Lane, both Thrapston Town and Whitworth will be aiming to bounce back when they clash.

Thrapston lost 3-0 at home to table-topping Stewarts & Lloyds on Saturday while Whitworth went down 5-1 at another high-flying side, Peterborough Sports.
