All four local ChromaSport & Trophies United Counties League Premier Division sides are in action tonight (Tuesday) and Stewarts & Lloyds may well be looking for a bit of help from two of their rivals.

The Foundrymen are four points adrift of safety at the wrong end of the table and take on Boston Town at Occupation Road this evening.

And while S&L, hammered 6-1 at home by AFC Kempston Rovers at the weekend, will need to get points on the board themselves, Desborough Town and Wellingborough Town could give them a helping hand.

The Doughboys, who didn’t play on Saturday, head to second-from-bottom Harborough Town while Ar Tarn will be looking to build on their 1-1 draw at Huntingdon Town when they take on third-from-bottom Newport Pagnell at the S6 Stadium.

At the other end of the table, AFC Rushden & Diamonds have the chance to firm up their grip on second spot when they face third-placed Deeping Rangers at the Dog & Duck.

Mark Starmer’s men beat Holbeach United 3-1 at the weekend and another victory tonight would see them move seven points clear of their opponents.

Rothwell Corinthians should finally play their UCL Knockout Cup second round tie with AFC Kempston at Seargents Lawn tonight.

The fixture has been postponed on numerous occasions and Corinthians will be hoping to bounce back after suffering a 2-1 home loss to Buckingham Town in Division One at the weekend.

In Division One itself, Irchester United head to Potton United tonight while Raunds Town welcome Peterborough Sports to Kiln Park.

Thrapston Town, who have hit 11 goals in their last two games, travel to bottom markers Woodford United and Burton Park Wanderers are in action at Latimer Park tomorrow (Wednesday) night when they host Northampton Spencer.
