Desborough Town’s magnificent form continued as they made it 13 game unbeaten and maintained third place in the ChromaSport & Trophies United Counties League Premier Division with a 4-2 success at Wisbech Town.

Goals from Merson Styles, Michael Boyle-Chong, Will Arnold and Jason Turner secured the points for Chris Bradshaw’s side as efforts from Jon Fairweather and Billy Smith proved to be just consolations for the hosts.

There was also a fine away win for Rothwell Corinthians as they were 3-1 victors at Harrowby United.

Callum Plowrigh, Kalon Peniasko and Jed Downing were on target for Corinthians as they maintained their place in the top 10.

But Wellingborough Town’s poor form took a turn for the worse as they were beaten 1-0 at Huntingdon Town, who moved off the bottom of the table as a result.

Jamie Waterworth’s goal condemned the Doughboys to a third defeat in a row.

Raunds Town suffered a shock 4-1 loss at Lutterworth Athletic as they dropped to fourth place in Division One.

Dave Townsend actually put the Shopmates in front but the home side hit back to claim victory thanks to Sam Young, Cam Weston and Callum Riley.

The local derby at Chancery Lane ended in deadlock as Thrapston Town drew 2-2 with Whitworth.

The Flourmen moved into a 2-0 lead through Matty Judge and Jonny Hazell.

But the hosts battled back and goals from Mason Thomas and Kane Clinton earned them a share of the spoils.

Irchester United picked up a good point as Ryan Lovell’s brace ensured a 2-2 draw at Buckingham Town.

But it was another tough day for strugglers Stewarts & Lloyds and Burton Park Wanderers.

Bottom markers S&L went down 2-0 at Potton United while two goals each for James Tricks and Phil Cassidy sent Daventry Town to a 4-0 win over Wanderers at Latimer Park.
