Dave Williams has confirmed Rothwell Town won’t be playing any football next season.
The Bones are waiting to hear what is to become of their Cecil Street home with their fate still in the hands of administrators.
But Williams, who remained with the club as manager during a traumatic UCL Division One campaign, believes they will need to relocate and start afresh.
In the meantime, Williams has confirmed he is hoping to remain in the game.
“It was a real nightmare last season, there is no other way of describing it,” Williams said.
“The club hasn’t reapplied for the UCL for next season so that is it for the time being.
“Obviously everyone is waiting to see what happens to the site but I would guess the club will have to relocate if it wants to continue.
“From my own point of view, I have been through a very different experience but I wanted to stay loyal to the club last season.
“They gave me the chance to manage in the Southern League but it is terrible to see the way the club has gone.
“But it hasn’t put me off.
“I want to stay in the game. I have plenty of experience and I am still working in the youth system at Leicester City.
“I am hoping I can get a coaching or managing job somewhere.”
