Wright wants a winning start to pre-season for Corby
The Steelmen had originally been scheduled to travel to their United Counties League Premier Division outfit but the friendly has now been switched to the 3G surface at Montsaye Academy in Rothwell with entry being free for supporters.
Wright has overseen a complete rebuild of his squad following a disastrous campaign, which resulted in relegation after just one season back in the Vanarama National League North.

And Wright is now looking forward to seeing what they can do.
“The game has had to be switched but it will still be a very worthwhile exercise,” the Steelmen boss said.
“I want us to win a game of football, it has been a long time since we tasted victory as a club.

“They have been telling me that they feel ready for a match and now we will see if they are.
“All of the new boys should be involved. The only one who might not feature is Callum Ball because he has only recently returned from holiday.
“But he will be there with us. I want all the squad together and he will be there doing some bits, even if that means not being involved in the game itself.”
