Corby Town have confirmed the arrival of three new directors following a summer shake-up at Steel Park.
Steelmen chairman Kevin Ingram has released a statement where he revealed Nathan Bailey – the managing director of club sponsors Baileys Skip Hire – Paul Glass and Kevin Harris have all become directors of the club while stalwarts Ian Hopewell and Martin Harris have left Steel Park.
The statement also confirmed left-back Gareth Jelleyman has been retained by the club along with Paul Walker, Paul Malone and Sam Ives. They have been joined by new signings Tom Berwick and Chris Carruthers, who joined the Steelmen this week.
Former Wellingborough Town boss Rob Gould has joined Corby to manage an under-21s team while Mark Peters and Ian Jackson have been kept on to assist boss Chris Plummer.
In the statement, Ingram said: “I have shuffled the pack at board level, with several ins and outs as we look to strengthen the pack.
“There will be more announcements very soon regarding other new Directors and appointments.
“At the same time I will tell you more about the many other newcomers to the club’s support infrastructure, whilst also announcing a number of new positions that are available.
“An announcement will be made shortly about two new and exciting sponsorship deals for 2013/14 season.
“As a fabulous new season gesture, Nathan Bailey has sponsored the purchase of four large plasma screens for the new multi-purpose function room. Thank you Nathan from all who will view them.”
The club are also set to reveal their season ticket prices for next season in the near future.
And the Supporters Trust have organised a ‘Get Steel Park Ready’ day on Sunday, July 14 between 10am and 4pm where they are looking for fans to come along and help with a number of jobs to get the Steelmen’s home ground in good shape for the Southern League Premier Division campaign.
