Corby Town followed up their cup heroics by claiming a first away league win of the season as they beat St Neots .

Having travelled to Colwyn Bay and returned with a 3-1 success in the FA Cup on Saturday, they then picked up a victory on the road in Calor League Premier Division at the seventh attempt.

The Steelmen were 2-0 at half-time with goals from Nathan Rooney and player-manager Tommy Wright as strugglers St Neots failed to contain their visitors.

And Rooney found the net again after the break to seal the win and three valuable points for the Steelmen.
