Corby Town have been switched to the Evo-Stik Northern League Premier Division for the 2014-15 campaign.

The news was confirmed on Thursday night as the Football Association confirmed the line-ups for the upper echelons of the non-League game.

The Steelmen have switched from the Calor League Premier Division in which they finished 11th last season.

And their move to the northern section means they will now have a local derby with Stamford to look forward to as well as high-profile clashes against King’s Lynn Town and FC United of Manchester.

Kettering Town, meanwhile, will remain in the Calor League Division One Central having missed out on promotion when they were beaten 3-2 by Slough Town in the play-off final.

It means the Poppies will renew rivalries with the likes of Daventry Town and Rugby Town while Godalming Town, Hanwell Town and Ware will be new venues for the next campaign.

And they will also face Bedford Town, who are managed by former Wellingborough Town boss Craig Adams, after they were relegated from the Premier Division last season.
