Corby Town fans will get the chance to meet the new owners for the first time on Monday night.

A consortium of local businessmen completed their takeover of the Steelmen ahead of last weekend’s final-day 2-0 win over Bedford Town in the Calor League Premier Division.

The seven businessmen – Paul Glass, Nathan Bailey, Phil Toon, Steve Nicol, Tony Muir, Nick Sadler and Dan Hitchcock – have appointed former Stewarts & Lloyds manager Steve Noble as the club’s new chairman with Gerry Reilly being confirmed as vice-chairman.

And fans will now get the chance to speak to the new owners about their plans at the Social Club at Steel Park at 7.30pm on Monday.

The meeting was organised following discussions between members of the board with representatives of the Corby Town Supporters’ Trust and the Fans Fighting Fund, which was set up following the club’s struggles in the latter stages of Kevin Ingram’s reign as chairman.
