Northampton Town striker David Moyo has joined Corby Town on a month’s loan.
It is the first signing made by Steelmen interim manager Mark Peters after he was placed in charge following the resigniation of Chris Plummer in midweek.
Moyo will go straight into the squad to play at Arlesey Town in the Calor League Premier Division tomorrow (Saturday) and has also been given permission to play in the FA Cup during his loan stint.
Moyo has made seven first-team appearances for the Cobblers and boss Aidy Boothroyd said: “I think this move suits all parties.
“David needs first team games to help his development. We have a number of young strikers at the club at the moment and as well as giving David the chance to play first team football, hopefully this move will help Corby Town out.
“We will be keeping a close eye on David’s progress over the next few weeks and we wish him well.”
