Corby Town moved into the second place in the Southern League Premier Division with a 2-1 win over Arlesey Town.
Tommy Wright’s side went above St Neots as Wilson Carvalho’s strike early in the second half proved just enough to claim the points.
The teams had gone in level at half-time with Elliott Chamberlain’s opener being cancelled out by a penalty from Christian Tavernier.
Arlesey had the chance from the spot after Edi Appleton had felled Mark Gallagher.
The win extends the Steelmen’s unbeaten run to seven games and sends them into their FA Trophy clash with Redditch flying high in the league.
