The Steelmen return to Steel Park to take on bottom side Skelmersdale United after suffering a 4-2 defeat at Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Premier Division runaway leaders Blyth Spartans at the weekend.

As it stands, Corby are four points adrift of safety although that deficit could be bigger after tomorrow (Tuesday) night when Marine and Frickley Athletic are both in action.

Nonetheless, Mills is fully focused on next weekend and he is hoping his team can get on another good run of form as they bid to pull off a great escape from relegation.

“We have some huge fixtures to come,” Mills said.

“The next game was always going to be a huge one and it is now our biggest game of the season.

“We will be positive in training tomorrow and on Thursday and we will be looking forward to the game.

“I know what I will get from our boys. We had to patch a few of them up at the weekend but they keep going for me and I can’t praise them enough.

“I am proud of what they have done so far and now we have to get back on a good run.”
