Verma is in for Poppies’ game at Cambridge

Michael King has left Kettering Town by mutual consent

Michael King has left Kettering Town by mutual consent

Aman Verma is in Kettering Town’s squad for tonight’s (Tuesday) Evo-Stik Southern League Premier Division clash at Cambridge City.

The midfielder, who has joined the Poppies for a second spell having played there last season, was unable to make his return in the 1-1 draw with AFC Totton as the club was awaiting international clearance after he had played in Malta recently.

The Poppies have also announced the signings of right-back Amaud Ndzomo, who has been playing in France for Lille, and central midfielder Khalid Alleyne, who is hoping to recover from a training injury suffered last week. Both are in line to make their debuts in Sunday’s game against Bideford at Steel Park.

Kettering, meanwhile, have mutually agreed to terminate Michael King’s contract, although the final paperwork has not yet been completed.
