Kettering Town have completed the signing of former Corby Town striker Josh Moreman.
The 21-year-old proved to be prolific in his time at Steel Park, having signed from Deeping Rangers ahead of last season.
But he rejoined ChromaSport & Trophies United Counties League Premier Division side Deeping earlier this campaign after a troubled start to the season with the Steelmen.
Moreman, who also had a trial spell with Northampton Town in pre-season, has hit 13 goals in eight games since re-joining Deeping and the Poppies confirmed their new arrival on their website this evening.
A statement said: “As well as a main striker he (Moreman) can play left midfield.
“We welcome Josh to the club and hope we can help him further his career at the Poppies - starting tomorrow at Barton Rovers.”
One player who won’t be involved in tomorrow’s big Calor League Division One Central match at third-placed Barton is right-back Chimdi Akubuine.
The Poppies received a seven-day approach for the defender from Skrill Premier side Nuneaton Town but chose to waive it to give Akubuine the chance to sign for them.
He has since completed his move to Nuneaton but Kettering have confirmed they have retained his Calor League registration.
