Kettering Town have added goalkeeper Alastair Worby to their squad ahead of the run-in in the Calor League Division One Central.
The stopper has joined from Stourbridge but is well known in Northamptonshire after stepping in and producing a man-of-the-match display for Brackley Town in their shock FA Cup success over Sky Bet League One club Gillingham in the FA Cup earlier this season.
The Poppies have made their move for a goalkeeper with first-choice Denham Hinds still ruled out through injury.
Worby will now compete for the number one jersey with youngster Jamie McAlindon, who has kept two clean sheets in a row.
The new signing has been registered with the Poppies and will be available for their clash against St Ives Town at Latimer Park on Tuesday night.
