Kettering Town have made some final moves in the transfer market ahead of Saturday’s big kick-off in the Southern League Division One Central.
The Poppies have signed strikers Avelino Vieira and Alfie Taylor while midfielder Ash Robinson and centre-half Ryan Walker have also arrived after featuring for the club during pre-season.
Vieira was with St Ives Town last season but is well known in these parts for his spell at Corby Town while Taylor hit 50 goals in two seasons for AFC Rushden & Diamonds before leaving at the end of the last campaign.
Robinson spent last season at Stamford while Walker was also with the Daniels before signing for AFC Rushden & Diamonds on a dual registration in March.
The Poppies have also moved to sign under-21 player Reabus Noel to the first-team squad as well as another former Diamond Nat Liburd.
And it was also officially confirmed that Henry Eze, Dan Crowie and Louis Hamilton will all be with Kettering during the forthcoming campaign after helping the club to the play-off final last season.
Kettering’s new campaign starts on Saturday when they take on Aylesbury United at Latimer Park.
