Kettering Town moved well clear at the top of Evo-Stik Division One Central with a 2-1 win over third-placed Aylesbury.

Their hosts from Buckinghamshire dropped a place in the table while the Poppies put themselves five points ahead at the top with a game in hand.

Elliot Sandy and Claudiu Hoban put them ahead in the first half before a late penalty converted by Bradley Wadkins gave the the hosts brief hope.
