Kettering Town might have to wait another 24 hours before finding out if they will suffer a points deduction.
The deadline for Poppies to prove they have settled debts with all their football creditors has now passed.
But it is understood the Football Conference are still seeking more evidence of payments being made and could delay their decision until tomorrow.
The Poppies were given a fine and a suspended three-point deduction at the original hearing last month.
However, evidence had to be supplied yesterday that the creditors - among which are the club’s players and Crawley Town - had been been paid up.
