Kettering Town have completed the signing of Ross Oulton from Daventry Town.
The midfielder played for the Poppies in their first pre-season friendly at Oadby Town last weekend but the transfer has only now been confirmed by the club.
Oulton played a key part in Daventry’s run to the Southern League Division One Central play-offs last season, a run that was ended by Kettering in the semi-finals.
The Poppies, meanwhile, have announced some changes to the board at Latimer Park with Martin Bellamy being confirmed as commercial director.
Bellamy was named clubman of the year for last season and is also a board member of the Kettering Town (Poppies) Supporters Trust.
Vice-chairman Neil Griffin has taken over as club secretary from Bob Brown, who will stay on as a director.
In a statement, the club said: “This brings the board up to a total of seven and we feel we are well placed to meet the challenges of the future and to ensure the ongoing progress of the club.”
