Clubs across Northamptonshire have discovered what awaits them in the early stages of the FA competitions next season.

Corby Town will enter the FA Cup at the first qualifying round stage where they will host Barwell while Kettering Town begin in the preliminary round at home to Gresley.

The likes of Stewarts & Lloyds, Desborough Town, Rushden & Higham United, AFC Rushden & Diamonds, Wellingborough Town and Irchester United begin their FA Cup campaigns in the extra preliminary round on August 17.

In the FA Trophy, the Poppies will play Romulus at home in the preliminary round and will be at home to Rainworth MW or St Ives Town if they are successful.

The Steelmen start in the first qualifying round and they could have a County derby at Daventry Town, who play Sutton Coldfield at home for the right to face Corby.

The draws have also taken place for the early stages of the FA Vase and the FA Youth Cup.

Extra preliminary round: Stewarts & Lloyds v Arnold Town, Desborough Town v Oadby Town, Haringey Borough v Rushden & Higham United, London Colney v AFC Rushden & Diamonds, Wellingborough Town v Haringey Waltham Development, Irchester United v Biggleswade United. First qualifying round: Stewarts & Lloyds v Bardon Hill Sports, Ibstock Town v Rothwell Corinthians, Radford v Desborough Town, AFC Dunstable v AFC Rushden & Diamonds, Harefield United v Wellingborough Town, Rushden & Higham United v Northampton Spencer. Ties to be played on Saturday, September 7 (winners receive £600).
