Henry Eze has agreed terms with Kettering Town to remain at the club for the new Calor League Division One Central campaign.

The central defender played a key role in the Poppies’ fine form during the last campaign, which eventually ended in a play-off final defeat to Slough Town.

Eze scooped the overall player of the year award after a string of fine performances and was also named the supporters’ player of the season.

The Poppies have also confirmed that youngster Harry Beckley has signed up for next season and that follows on from the news that right-back James Clifton will also remain at the club.

Thomas Baillie and Scott Machin are currently in control of first-team affairs at Latimer Park on an interim basis following the departure of Dean Thomas just over a week ago.
