Kettering Town have bolstered their attacking strength ahead of this weekend’s trip to Arlesey Town.
Despite a couple of higly-respectable performances in the last two games the Poppies have not picked up a point since their return to action.
So manager Alan Doyle has added strikers Mo Ahmed and Maldini Costa to his playing squad.
“We have played very well and we are certainly going into this game with more confidence than we might have expected a week ago,” Doyle said.
“But as well as we have done we have lacked some composure in front of goal.
“We need to address the fact we are struggling to score goals.
“Having said that I’m a big believer in continuity and the boys we have played have done really well.
“I can’t think of anyone that deserves to be dropped.
“But we’ve brought in Ahmed from MK Dons. He’s a young lad who is quick and can play upfront or on the wing.
“And Costa is a big lad who is at Hinckley College.
“I’m also trying to get another striker on loan from a Conference club and that’s probably 50-50 at the moment.
“What would be good is if Lady Luck smiles on us this week.
“It would be nice if we get the deflected goal instead of it going into our net.”
