The Boughton Park outfit host Elvaston - who are based just outside Derby - on Sunday in the last 16 of the National Village Cup and their captain, Sam Palmer, doesn’t want to stop there.
He said: “We made a conscious effort this year to give this competition a real go as we’ve not gone as far as we’d like in the past 10 years or so.
“The commitment from the players has been good and we’re really looking forward to this weekend.
“Hopefully we’ll get a good crowd and whether we have to defend or chase, we’re confident whatever we do.”
The match is 40 overs a side and gets under way at 1.30pm.
