IT may be early days but Irchester look to be the team to beat in Division Three as they racked up their third win in as many attempts.
The Alfred Street outfit got the better of St Crispin & Ryelands by 40 runs and have a 24-point advantage over second- placed West Haddon.
Vishal Thanki was the main man with the bat for Irchester by making 111 at the top of the order as the visitors were dismissed for 212 in 48.4 overs. Jack Goodman was the pick of the Crispins attack with 5-47 as he kept the score in check.
The McDonalds then took over with the ball as Nathan and Craig snared five wickets apiece when the hosts were bowled out in 44 overs for 172.
