Northampton Saints moved to the top of the NCL Premier Division as they beat Peterborough by 79 runs at Birchfield Road East.
Defending a total of 191-9, of which Alec Swann hit 81, the home side skittled the visitors for just 112 as Sam Sweeney marked his debut with figures of 4-14.
Saints are now 21 points clear of Finedon in second and 25 above Peterborough, with the latter two sides facing off at Bretton Gate next weekend.
Finedon had to settle for the lion’s share of the spoils as they were held to a draw by Stony Stratford.
At the other end of the table, both Horton House and Burton Latimer suffered defeats to the Old Northamptonians and Wellingborough Town respectively.
Horton remain at the foot of the table, nine points below Burton.
In the other games of the round, Brixworth, who are up to fourth, drew with Rushton and the NCCC Academy shared the points with Wollaston.
In Division One, the result of the day came at Loddington where the league-leading hosts were thumped by ONs 2nd to the tune of 141 runs.
Elsewhere, Desborough drew with Oundle and Geddington were held by Kettering.
Irthlingborough’s good form continued as they downed Isham and Wellingborough Indians got the better of Rushden.
The Old Wellingburians and Finedon 2nd drew.
