Saints move further ahead as Finedon falter

Northampton Saints now have a 32-point lead at the top of the Northamptonshire Cricket League Premier Division..

Alec Swann scored an unbeaten century and Andy Oram took 6-35 as they beat Brixworth by 148 runs.

It helped extend their advantage as Peterborough saw off Finedon Dolben in the clash between second and third.

Finedon were bowled out for just 90 as they lost by six wickets.

Elsewhere in the top flight there were wins for Rushton at Burton Latimer, Wellingborough at Wollaston, the Academy at Horton and Old Northamptonians at Stony Stratford.

It meant Peterborough were the only home side to win.

Oundle were the big winners in Division One as they beat leaders Loddington by eight wickets.
