RUSHTON’S topsy-turvy start to the campaign continued as they claimed a seven-wicket success at the County Ground.
John Carpenter’s side have now collected victories against the Academy and Finedon to go alongside defeats to Peterborough and the Old Northamptonians.
It was new recruit Andy Reynoldson pictured right) who led the way yesterday as he followed figures of 4-32 with an undefeated 79 as the visitors reached their target with seven wickets in hand and 21 balls to spare.
He was assisted by County man David Murphy who hit 63 and Ben Mansell who opened his Rushton account with 41 after switching from Burton Latimer in the week.
Only Joe Dawborn (2-54) had much success with the ball for the home side who earlier in the piece had needed 63 from Ollie Stone and 33 from Saif Bhohani to post a competitive tally.
