Relegation rivals go head-to-head

Hall Field hosts the game of the weekend in the Hevey Building Supplies NCL Premier Division as Burton Latimer host Horton House.

A glance at the table indicates how important a clash this is. Horton are bottom with 45 points while Burton are just 11 ahead on 56.

With over half the season remaining the pair are already in danger of becoming cut off with Wollaston a further 32 points above Burton.

Neither side have registered a victory so far this season, in fact Horton haven’t even drawn a game yet, and Burton will be marginal favourites for having home advantage if nothing else.

Old Northamptonians will be looking to build on last week’s four-wicket victory over leaders Northampton Saints when they host Finedon Dolben at Billing Road while second-place Peterborough travel to Wellingborough Town.

The Saints are also on the road as they visit Milton Keynes’ Campbell Park to face the NCCC Academy.

Elsewhere, Rushton entertain Stony Stratford at Station Road and Wollaston are at home to Brixworth.

In Division One, the pick of the ties comes at Loddington where the leaders, who are hanging on to top spot, welcome fourth-place Kettering.
