Wollaston will be looking for a repeat dose when they travel to Brixworth in the NCL Premier Division this weekend.
Chris Perry’s side claimed a comprehensive 10-wicket victory in the earlier encounter and seven days after inflicting a first defeat of the season on leaders Finedon, more of the same is the plan.
The captain said: “We’ve had a bit of an edge on them over the past few years and we’ll use what happened a few weeks ago as inspiration.
“Last week’s win will give us plenty of confidence for the last few games and that starts on Saturday.
“They (Brixworth) have been a bit inconsistent but they’ve got players who can turn games so we can’t just expect to turn up and win the game.”
Having conceded the top spot to Peterborough, Finedon come up against Wellingborough Town who themselves were leapfrogges by Burton Latimer at the foot of the table and who now sit in 12th place.
Peterborough, fresh from their success in the Midlands regional Twenty20 finals, are at home to Stony Stratford.
Third placed Old Northamptonians will be heavy favourites when they entertain Horton House and Rushton will be in the same boat as they welcome Burton Latimer.
The weekend’s other game sees Northampton Saints come up against Oundle.
